CNC1000

ECS is proud to present the CNC1000: not just a new CNC, but a complete hardware and software platform that changes the way numerical control is conceived. Based on the EtherCAT bus, but also available with other fieldbuses, the CNC1000 series can control drives and local and remote input/output interfaces. All models run on a standard operating system (Windows) and offer several connectivity technologies, ideal for Industry 4.0.

The real innovation lies in the new HMIPrime user interface, designed for the best ergonomics and usability, together with the new eVo CPU, a significant step forward from previous generations that ensures exceptional processing speed and fast response during machining.

The CNC1000 family includes variants for different performance and size requirements. The different configurations let the system be optimised for the specific application, while keeping high reliability and a long service life. The strength of the CNC1000 range is full software compatibility across all hardware configurations: whichever variant you choose, the CNC software runs optimally on all the systems offered. This lets the customer make the choice best suited to their machine among the many hardware + software combinations available, greatly simplifying system integration and upgrades.

The CNC1000 series is available in the following variants:

The CNC1000 series comes with HMIPrime, the new ECS user interface software and a key innovation. Designed to offer an outstanding user experience, HMIPrime provides an operator interface that adapts perfectly to any screen size and resolution, ensuring a clear and detailed display in every context.

HMIPrime is the key to a flexible, adaptable operator interface. Thanks to its advanced design, it can handle any screen size and resolution, whether 4:3 or 16:9 panels, and allows information to be displayed optimally. This makes the CNC1000 series particularly versatile, as the interface can be customised to the user’s preferences and specific needs.

HMIPrime is supplied complete for the required machine technology (milling, turning, cutting, etc.), but the customer can easily customise the screens, modifying them or adding custom functions with the proprietary IDE (Integrated Development Environment) HMIPrime Studio, to develop the HMI the machine builder needs quickly and easily.

The operator panels are available in various resolutions and form factors for maximum adaptability. With the 4:3 form factor for traditional applications and the 16:9 format for a modern widescreen experience, users can choose the configuration that best suits their working environment.

The CNC1000 series is available with the new eVo(lution) CPU, its beating heart, based on the advanced Intel Elkhart Lake architecture. Thanks to this technology, overall performance has improved considerably, with a threefold increase in all comparison benchmarks against previous CPU generations. This increase in power and speed lets CNC1000 systems handle complex operations more efficiently, improving productivity and reducing machining times.
